ABOUT THE COMPANY

I am mag. Vanja Šendlinger, univ. dipl. geog., self-employed environmental expert. I am widely known as Lučka, which is also the name of my company. LUČKA s.p. is successfully operating since 2007 and is supporting both public and private sector clients.

Throughout my career, I have served as project manager and lead consultant for numerous projects. With nearly 20 years of experience, my work focuses on delivering high-quality professional studies in environmental protection (till now including for example more than 90 Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs)), spatial planning, nature protection, agricultural land management, and demography. I also provide expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and cartography.

In recent years, I have expanded my services to international clients, specializing in EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) and Energy Legal Registers, providing translation (ENG-SLO or SLO-ENG) and post-editing of Slovenian EHS legislation, localization, and compliance support for complex legal and regulatory content. Throughout this work, I have gained valuable experience in:

in-depth knowledge of Slovenian EHS legislation,
accurate terminology and legally sound use of language,
reliable and timely delivery of documents tailored to client needs,
international cooperation where the translation of legal content is essential for compliance and legal certainty.

My international clients include ENHESA SA (Belgium), Denkstatt GmbH (Austria), ConPlusUltra FlexCo (Austria) and MolConcepts (the Netherlands).

ABOUT ME

I earned my Master of Science in Ecological Geography from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, and completed part of my postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Science, University of Amsterdam. I regularly participate in training and workshops on environmental assessments, organized by Slovenian ministries and other institutions. I am fluent in English and have passive knowledge of Dutch and German, enabling me to work effectively with multilingual documentation and international projects.
